Shareholder
Preston is a lifelong resident of Decatur. He is a
1991 graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Accounting. He joined the firm in 1995 and was admitted as
shareholder in 2003. Prior to joining the firm he was on the audit
staff of Ernst and Young. |
Preston’s primary areas of concentration involve assurance (audit,
review and compilation) services and tax services for C-corporations,
S-corporations, and LLCs. He is a Certified Quickbooks Proadvisor
helping clients set up, implement and troubleshoot Quickbooks. Preston
also works with numerous individual clients in tax planning and tax
return preparation. He advises businesses primarily in the
construction, financial services, and the legal and professional
service industries.
Preston is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He
is past Treasurer of the Spirit of America Festival.
He and his wife, Leah, enjoy spending time with their three children
and are very involved in their church, where he teaches the
eighth-grade class. Preston’s hobbies include duck hunting and helping
coach his childrens' softball, football and soccer teams.
